What landscaping means to me personaly

1. Its a creative activity that I use as an artistic expression.
2. I have a long familial association with shaping the earth.
3. This activity is about putting a stamp on a place that is very important to me.
4. I am not concerned about people changing what I do. I move house regularly and know people don't necessarily maintain the garden. For me Its about the landscaping and shaping the earth, and less about the maintenance of pre-existent gardens.

Theraputic practice with landscaping

1. Activity within sheltered workshops. Seen in mental health and intellectual disability sectors.
2. Walks in landscaped areas as a therapeutic tool when interviewing clients.
3. Gardening group as a possible arena for group membership.
4. As a meaningful occupation within youth careers development.
